The top handle bag is a piece that should be on your radar this season. The Diorever bag is on every Dior addict’s wish-list. What a better occasion to treat yourself to a new designer piece than your birthday. After owning the bag for more than half a year and not being able to use it a lot, I started questioning my decision and I even considered parting ways with my Dior beauty. That was until the colder months rolled down, and the appeal of wearing luxe caramel and chestnut cashmere, tonal brown chunky wool knits, earthy floor skimming coats and neutral pieces reminded me what drew me to the bag in the first place. The bag is constructed from the most beautiful champagne toned grained leather and features a leather shoulder strap and a top handle as well as studs on the bottom of the bag for added durability. The gold crest-shaped clasp is signature for the Dior woman and it perfectly accentuates the muted gold shade of the bag. The reversible flap of the Diorever can be clasped over the bag or flipped back depending on your preference with the help of magnetic buttons on each side. Although there are no separate compartments in the mini size, the brilliant design of the Diorever makes perfect use of the inside compartment and it’s perfect for easy accessibility. The bag is also available in two other sizes – medium and large, which are perfect as a work bag due to the bag’s structured design. The buttons on the side of the bag also give you the option of transforming the bag into a more compact one.

The Diorever comes in striking metallics, show-stopping exotic leathers as well as classic shades. For me, the classic finishes and muted hues are kept for the medium and the large size, when used closed as a work bag.  The mini, on the other hand, is your statement piece, worn as an open tote, and it’s the one you should be experimenting with in terms of leather finishes and colours. Worn cross-body or on the crock of your arm, the Diorever is a timeless piece that is extremely versatile and sophisticated. I personally prefer the latter as I find that the strap attachments should have been centred in the middle of the bag which would have given the bag a lot more support when styled crossbody. The craftsmanship and expertise of Dior are undisputed and the Fashion House showcases those qualities by accentuating the structural silhouette of the Diorever by using the finest materials. The Diorever bag is a covetable piece that will stay timeless no matter what.
