Cold drinks, warm breeze, blue skies – what’s not to love about summer! My go-to look during spring and summer tends to be a flowy dress paired with espadrilles, dainty jewellery and of course a statement bag. I gravitate towards more feminine pieces during the warmer months and what a better way to beat the summer heat than with a delicate, bohemian inspired dress. From summer florals to broderie anglaise, from ruffles and pleats to fit and flare and off the shoulder silhouettes or barely-there straps, you can’t go wrong with lightweight breathable fabrics such as linen, cotton and silk during spring and summer. I prefer more effortless looks in whites, dusky-pinks, creams, browns and peachy nudes as they perfectly complement my sun-kissed skin. Greens and yellows add a touch of playfulness to your spring – summer wardrobe and are perfect for your summer vacay. Although I’d usually shy away from these bold colours, I am totally loving them this year and I can’t wait to incorporate them into my looks.
