Grey is one of those shades that is so subtle yet screams sophistication. Always offering a different aesthetic depending on the hue and fabrics used, grey is the epitome of confidence and has always been a colour I gravitate towards no matter the season. Luxury, minimalism and timelessness come to mind when thinking about the various hues associated with the colour – from faded tones such as stone and pearl-grey to deeper and more mysterious hues such as charcoal and graphite. My love for these muted shades is no private affair and lately has turned into an obsession. Every item I seemed to get drawn to, whether it being a perfectly cut blazer, a chic pair of trousers or a cool and functional pair of trainers, seems to be a shade of grey. The allure of grey comes as no surprise considering its ability to fuse fashion with functionality and its connotations with elegance and luxury. Arguably, one of the most prevalent colours in my wardrobe, grey is classic yet contemporary, understated yet statement.
